A leading organisation are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their growing team based in West London. The role will be responsible for managing a range of both indirect and direct categories, ranging from FM, Professional Services, Utilities, Construction, Marketing etc. Experience working within both public and private sector environments would be beneficial.
They are ideally looking to speak with Procurement Managers who have a broad range of category experience, who would feel confident they could hit the ground running from day one, experience within both public and private sector environments will be beneficial.
Role Responsibilities
Manage both direct and indirect categories across the business
Reduce current supply base, focusing on developing key suppliers
Negotiate on new and existing contracts, to drive down costs to the company
Implement SLA's into contracts to ensure service delivery is at optimum level
Influence key stakeholders in the business
Bring previous expertise of improving processes of any current policies
Identify new potential suppliers and cost saving opportunities by using market knowledge
Experience Required:
Broad range of category experience
Supplier management experience
Proven negotiation skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Both public and private sector experience
CIPS Qualified (Desirable not essential)
